What is a "House Church"?
House churches began in the New Testament days after Jesus
ascended into Heaven, particularly we read about them in the
Book of Acts. People would meet in homes and talk about Jesus,
often followed by a meal. House churches were the beginning of
the Christian church. Our church meets weekly in our small
groups, then all of the groups come together once each month for
a "gathering", where we might play laser tag, go to the zoo, or
visit a Christian place of interest, such as the Trinity
Broadcasting Network studios like we did earlier this year.
We always follow our Gatherings with a meal and Holy Communion.
